Privacy Policy
How vfxcooperative.com handles contact details, founding-member submissions, and third-party services.
Last Updated: March 10, 2026
Overview
VFX Cooperative operates vfxcooperative.com as a public information site for cooperative governance resources, membership interest, and contact. This page explains what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and where third-party services are involved.
Information We Collect
We may receive information you choose to submit to us, including your email address and any message content you send by email.
If you use the founding-members page, the site sends your form response to our Google Forms endpoint. That may include your email address and the regional membership options you selected.
Like most websites, our hosting environment may also log technical request data such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and access time.
How We Use Information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, understand interest in the cooperative, organize founding-member outreach, and maintain and improve the site.
We do not offer user accounts on this website, and we do not sell personal information submitted through the site.
Third-Party Services
This site links to and, in some cases, submits data through third-party services including Google Forms and public Google-hosted governance documents. When you interact with those services, their own terms and privacy practices also apply.
Because the founding-members form posts to Google Forms, information submitted there is processed by Google in addition to VFX Cooperative.
Cookies and Technical Data
We do not currently run a separate user account system or a custom advertising platform on this site. Basic hosting, browser, and third-party services may still use cookies, local storage, or similar technical mechanisms required for page delivery, embedded functionality, and fraud prevention.
Retention and Sharing
We keep submitted information only as long as reasonably needed for operations, planning, legal compliance, or recordkeeping. We may disclose information when required to comply with law, protect the site, or prevent misuse.
Your Choices
You can choose not to submit the founding-members form and can contact us to request correction or deletion of information you previously sent, subject to legal and operational limitations.
Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
